Mundo Pato Inc. is looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. Full stack developers are responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside architects for new features, among other duties.

Full stack developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working as part of the core team responsible for designing and maintaining multiple platforms/frameworks, as well as core packages/components on which main parts of the Mundo Pato products are built on

  • Receiving and maintain legacy code, with ability to suggest and recommend migration strategies following best practices

  • Implement reusable UI components and core libraries

 

 Skills required to succeed in this role:

  • 3+ years in Software Development with a focus on frontend

  • Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6), React, d3, Node.js, webpack, Babel, and Typescript

  • Able to manage self and make projects succeed

  • Basic knowledge in managing AWS infrastructure : cdk, S3, lambda

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.

  • Attention to detail

  • English or Spanish language

 Ideally:

  • Experience using architecture software patterns

  • Knowledge in developing with Java and Java EE

  • English language proficiency (not required)

  • Familiarity with linux or macos development environments

  • Familiarity with No-SQL database

This is a full time, virtual (remote) position. Pay is commensurate with experience.
